Our stay here started at the end of October and ended the first week in November. I waited to rate our experience until I researched more of the reviews on this location to confirm our experience. There were two common complaints that I will echo. First, the $65 daily valet parking fee took us by surprise and we ended up returning our rental early and using the cheaper option of Uber drivers or on foot. Paying over $400 for parking was asking too much in our opinion. The second issue is captured in this other reviewer's comments "1) The constant bombardment of timeshare salespeople in the lobby offering “free points” as a pitch. You cannot come through the door without being subjected to this. You cannot sit in the lobby for more than 15 minutes without being subjected to this." We had this exact same experience and it is very off putting. It almost got to the point that I was going to ask the salespeople to remember my name and face and leave me and my wife alone. Unfortunately, they seemed to catch a lot of the elderly in the lobby. I don't know their tactics, so I can't say that was intentional, but I really felt bad for those folks that hopefully were just being polite and listening to the pitch and made a careful decision about whether to sign up. And if you read the comments and reviews that go back years here, this has been going on a long time. So, in my mind, this is a business model and corporate decision to allow this type of activity to continue. It is clear to me they have no intention of ceasing. Just be aware of what you might experience during your stay. The front desk staff and room and service staff were excellent and that offset some of the bad experience.

[This is an update to my original review in October.] I now can firmly recommend this hotel. My family and I had a bad experience in our first stay here, but the hotel management team was very kind and apologetic, and assured us the issues wouldn't happen again. Due to their kindness, we will be returning to stay there for Thanksgiving. The hotel's staff is nice (Dave is fantastic) and the hotel is operated well -- clean, good food, easy check-in -- and in a great location. We are optimistic about our upcoming trip! :)
