Excellent service, friendly and professional staff, rooms are a bit dated. Good food, but neither the restaurant nor the bar serves alcohol (you'll need to bring your own wine to your room). Recommended.

The hotel was adequate, nothing more! The facilities are in dire need of renovation; their age is showing. We were lucky enough to get a huge room. I think it was a suite. It had a sitting room with a TV, which we didn't use due to lack of time, a bathroom with only one toilet, and the main bedroom had a fairly large bed, a vanity, and a refrigerator. There was also a dressing room that led to the bathroom, which was separate from the shower. The room had two air conditioners that worked perfectly, and we weren't cold at all, as heating the room was a bit difficult. The food at this hotel wasn't particularly impressive, even though it was a buffet. The staff was polite. The hotel is on the outskirts of town, so if you want to go to the center, you need your own vehicle. It's quite quiet, but this hotel is usually quite busy, and not because of the luxury it offers.

Our room at Erfoud Palace Hotel was simple . Definitely not as grand as the Xaluca Dades where we stayed at last night. Located at the ground floor, the room was clean, spacious and had ready hot water which was good. The TV had shows of different languages. Just by browsing through the 10 channels available, there were 2 channels in English as well as Spanish, German and the local languages. Interesting how cosmopolitan Erfoud is, a reflection of the hub that Erfoud was in the past where people came to trade here. We also checked out the swimming pool which looked really grand in the photos. When we reached there, it did look grand. A large body of water with a fountain at its end. However, it was dirty. Tom saw some flying insects that was able to dive into the water and swim inside! :O Moreover, it was reported by a fellow tour mate that the sides of the pool had algae...
