Picturesque views from hotel in great location. Take a walk along the foreshore for an amazing view is Cannes and the snow capped mountains behind. Friendly staff and comfy bed.

We had a wonderful week at this hotel in September. The location and amenities are great. We were more than satisfied until our departure, but unfortunately, that changed: Since we arrived by car, the car key was left with the valet parking service during our stay. We didn't use the car at all during the week, but the valet parking service moved it several times. When we checked out, we discovered that the steering wheel of our car had a very deep and large scratch. The car was only four months old at the time! Since no one from the valet parking service was present that day, we informed the receptionist. The lady was extremely helpful and took photos of the damage, explaining that she would send them to the manager, who would then contact the insurance company. In the meantime, we were advised to request a repair estimate. We did this and sent it to the hotel two or three days later. Two months have now passed, and we are being given excuses or told to be patient! Our emails are only answered days or weeks later, or after repeated follow-ups. It seems to us as if they simply want to drag the matter out until it's "forgotten." We certainly don't want to blame the hotel staff; the valet parking service surely didn't cause the damage intentionally and may not even have noticed it. The receptionist, as already mentioned, was also very helpful. However, the way management treats (otherwise satisfied) hotel guests is simply unacceptable! We deliberately waited a long time before writing this review because we would have liked to resolve the issue beforehand and leave a positive review. However, this doesn't seem to be possible.
