Being in the center of Kızılay is great, but I'd say the hygiene is average. I stayed in a bed and breakfast. The breakfast was average; they serve pre-packaged plates. What bothered me was that they brought a POS machine when I asked for any extra drinks or food, so make sure you have your cards ready, as breakfast is included.

This hotel I chose for my stay in Ankara was a complete disappointment. Both rooms we were shown were extremely poorly maintained, old, and had a serious foul odor. We checked in and out immediately. The only professional person was the valet; I thank him. However, it's truly surprising that the hotel manager ignored such basic issues. Even though I paid upon arrival, I was told "refunds will be made within the week" and was held up for three weeks. The refund, which was eventually granted, was deducted. This clearly demonstrates poor management. Under these circumstances, I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.
