Europa Hotel

On March 1, 2026, I stayed at this hotel for the Spanish Nordic Walking Championship. It was very clean and peaceful, completely silent, but the best part was their thoughtfulness in letting us check out a little later so we could shower. So, after the competition finished, we were able to shower and leave the hotel at 1:45 PM, but it was incredibly appreciated that after a good sweat and a lot of effort, you could access a shower when you needed it. Thank you very much.

Just about right for a 4-star hotel, you can't regulate the room temperature, the phone doesn't work and parking on the street is difficult, you can leave it in their parking lot for 12 euros, the rooms are a bit small but clean and well maintained.

It leaves much to be desired for a 4-star hotel; I'd give it 2 or 3 stars at most. The reception staff were friendly. They have covered parking downstairs for €11 per day, and they don't take reservations. The minibar in the rooms was completely empty, which I don't understand. There's a vending machine for cold drinks downstairs in reception. The rooms are locked with a key; the key card is only for the electricity. I mean, for a 4-star hotel, they don't have smart doors with an app to access the key, like other 4-star hotels do. In a double room, there was only one large towel, one small thick towel for feet, two hand towels, and two other small ones, presumably for drying hair. They have a thermostat in the room and adjustable ventilation. The mattress and pillow are quite bad. It was clean, though. There's an elevator from the parking garage to the 5th floor. We didn't try the set menu, but it looked good and was reasonably priced, both for lunch and dinner; I think it was €14-16. It was very good value. It's a quiet hotel in Utebo. Taxis take 15 minutes to get there from Zaragoza. There's a Mercadona supermarket and a gas station quite close by. We paid €150 for one night, Thursday to Friday, in February, plus €18 for breakfast for two. I thought it was a good price because it was a 4-star hotel, but when I arrived and saw everything, it seemed expensive. I wouldn't go back for that price. If it were more in line with what it offers, I would.
