While the first impression of the Eurostars Regina seems positive due to the beautiful rooms and the building's appearance, the actual experience with the hotel and the service is subpar and frustrating. 1. Unprofessional "Check-in Policy" The staff employs an extremely irritating strategy regarding room availability. They repeatedly pretend that rooms aren't ready due to cleaning, when it's obvious they simply want to force guests to wait until exactly 3:00 PM or charge extra for an "early check-in." Be transparent about your policy instead of treating guests as if they have a mental disability and then releasing their room at 3:00 PM on the dot. 2. Room Comfort and Hygiene Our room faces the courtyard where breakfast is served. This creates a tremendous amount of noise in the morning, making it impossible to rest with the window open. Unfortunately, opening the window is absolutely essential: the room smells incredibly musty, even though it was supposedly "clean." 3. Lack of Basic Amenities For a hotel of this caliber, it's incomprehensible that there's no iron or ironing board available for guests. A laundry and ironing service is offered that lasts a full 48 hours, but even a quick shirt iron is impossible. This demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of the needs of the modern traveler. Conclusion The rooms are large and the bed is fine, but everything else is terrible. The staff acts with a "fake smile" and provides demonstrably false information. The location in San Lorenzo is okay, but certainly not spectacular enough to compensate for this lack of hospitality. There are plenty of alternatives in Seville where you are treated as a valued guest. Not recommended.
