They explicitly asked for a review, so here is an honest and factual one. We stayed at Exe Panorama for one night. The stay initially started well: the staff kindly stored our luggage before check-in, and the room itself was decent. There was also a bottle of water placed in the room with a label saying “thank you for visiting,” which reasonably suggested it was complimentary. However, several hours after checking out, things changed. While trying to enjoy our day in Paris, the front desk contacted us about a bottle of Coke and a KitKat supposedly taken from the minibar, items we did NOT consume. I made it clear that we are more than willing to pay for anything we actually used, but being accused of taking something we didn’t was extremely frustrating. The receptionist then informed us that the bottle of water in the room was also not free. That is fine, because we did drink one bottle of water in total. When I asked for the bill, the amount stated was €13.50 (see image) for a 50cl bottle, described only as “minibar” with no clear pricing. I questioned this, as the price is shockingly unreasonable for a small bottle of water and had never been communicated to us. Despite repeatedly explaining that we did not take anything other than the water, the discussion dragged on for quite some time. Eventually, the charge was reduced to €4.50 (which we payed). I am still shocked that it took so long and that we were accused in the first place. Instead of blaming guests, perhaps the management should review internal procedures, because clearly a mistake on their end led to this situation. The lack of transparency around minibar pricing and the way the issue was handled left us feeling very uncomfortable. Sadly, this overshadowed the end of our first trip to Paris.

Small and clean hotel in a good location. The staff are very friendly, and the only downside was the heat on the 6th floor in November. But I highly recommend it.
