Extended Stay America Brookfield

I had a great extended stay at the Extended Stay in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and overall it delivered exactly what I look for in a long-term hotel: comfort, convenience, and genuinely great people. The location is one of its strongest advantages. It’s set in a quiet, safe area of Brookfield but still close to everything — shopping centers, restaurants, grocery stores, and major roads are all just minutes away. It’s easy to get around, whether you’re heading to nearby business parks or taking a quick trip toward Milwaukee, and the neighborhood has a calm, well-kept feel that makes it ideal for longer stays. The rooms are spacious, practical, and designed for real living rather than just sleeping. The kitchenette is a huge plus, with a full-size fridge, stovetop, microwave, and prep space that makes extended visits much more comfortable. There’s plenty of storage, a useful workspace, and a comfortable bed, all laid out in a simple but functional design that works perfectly for settling in. Service here is consistently welcoming and helpful. The front desk team is friendly and quick to assist, check-in and check-out are smooth, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed but attentive. Housekeeping is structured well for long-term guests, giving you privacy while still being available when needed, and everything runs in a way that feels easy and low-stress. I also want to give some well-deserved shoutouts to the amazing staff who really made my stay stand out. Loreniz and Emily, the on-site managers, go above and beyond for guests. I’ll admit I can be a bit high-maintenance and needy at times, and they always accommodated every request with great cheer and a genuinely welcoming attitude. Housekeeping All-Star Gabby deserves special recognition too — she keeps my room absolutely top-notch, and her attention to detail never goes unnoticed. And a second shoutout to Ray, hands down the coolest and friendliest staff member I’ve ever encountered in all my travels. Her positive energy, professionalism, and kindness truly set the standard for hospitality. All in all, this property does a fantastic job balancing comfort, convenience, and outstanding service, and the people here are what truly make it memorable.

Unfortunately, I did not read the fine print. Check in ends at midnight so when i arrived to the hotel there was no front desk person. There are still many sites claiming this property has 24/7 front desk, but it does not. I took a picture of the front desk away sign as I called the hotel only to watch the phone ring 15 feet away behind the front desk with lights off. Did not get a refund or a response through chats. I used hotels.com to book it and never had problems with hotels.com until this stay. Hotels com repeatedly also tried calling to no answer many days in a row. Going through corporate I was told they refunded it to hotels.com not my credit card, which hotels.com denied. Done with hotels.com but insane no front desk after midnight or answers to calls even through handicapped phone entrance. Spent the night in my car in the parking lot.
