Location was good, close to the red light district. Although loud at night really accessible to the train station. Travelled with kids and was safe. It was a bit cold in the room so Id recommend bringing fleece pajamas if you're going to stay during fall/winter. The guy working at the front was extremely nice and helpful and offered more blankets for us. Thank you so much!

I'm giving it 1 star because it's the lowest I can get. My stay at the Facade Hotel in Amsterdam was extremely disappointing. The rooms are very small and not very functional. The staff was disorganized and rude from check-in, providing confusing information and unwilling to resolve customer issues. The reception was often empty or staffed by people who didn't even speak English. The housekeeping was terrible: twice, we found stained sheets. Furthermore, during the so-called "cleaning," our clean clothes, neatly left on the bed, were thrown in the garbage along with souvenirs purchased the day before, only to be later found in the bin as if they were trash. This was totally unacceptable. The heating was barely working, making the room cold and the experience even more unpleasant. The location is very central, but it's not the best, as it's located behind several seedy neighborhoods and the red light district. In conclusion, I absolutely would not recommend the Facade Hotel. A negative experience from every point of view: cleanliness, professionalism, comfort, and customer service were totally inadequate.
