Fairfield by Marriott Hiroshima Sera

Honestly, I didn't have high expectations and booked the stay hoping to feel close to nature, but I ended up being very satisfied. The Fairfield concept is to be located near a roadside station and give a local feel, and I truly fell in love with Sera. Despite booking at the last minute, I had a comfortable corner room. You can't watch Netflix in the room, so an HDMI cable would have made it even more comfortable! The cleanliness of the room and the sophisticated layout are typical of the Marriott group, and I was very satisfied. Of course, the bed was great too! I was impressed by the hospitality of the female staff member who helped me at check-in. After asking me if this was my first time at Fairfield and explaining the facility, she asked me what my dinner plans were and recommended many local restaurants in Sera. She even said she could help me make reservations right then and there, so I made a reservation right away. The restaurant we went to for dinner was also very satisfying!! And at the end, she walked me up to the elevator, which I couldn't thank her enough for. There's also a roadside station right in front of the hotel where you can enjoy local ingredients, and the hotel provides paper plates and even a microwave, so it was perfect. To be honest, I underestimated Fairfield. I'd like to try another Fairfield, and I also feel like I want to visit Sera again! Thank you so much!!

September 2025 I stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott Hiroshima Sera. It's attached to a roadside station, easily accessible by car, and the surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. The hotel is new and clean, and the lobby is spacious and cozy. The rooms are simple yet functional, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were courteous, giving me peace of mind from check-in through to the end of my stay. While the platinum benefits are modest, or even nonexistent, the roadside station's convenience store, where you can enjoy local ingredients, is convenient, and the hotel pairs well with local cuisine. The room rates vary significantly between weekdays and weekends, with weekday rates being significantly cheaper. It's an easy base for exploring Sera Town, and is ideal for those seeking a relaxing stay.

The room was so comfortable and stylish, it was fantastic. I wanted to stay there forever... The bed was so comfortable, the indirect lighting was indirect, and the sofa was so sturdy. There's no hot spring or meals, so you have to rely on the roadside station next door, but if you don't mind that, it's fantastic. It was a snowy day during the election, and the dog barked a lot at first, which was a bit of a nuisance, but the staff were all very kind, and I wondered (whether the location and bad weather would have been okay, and whether I'd been able to go at all...).
