Fairfield Inn & Suites Waco South

Im going to start my rant while im still angry and while that is typically not the best way to do things.....im afraid that tonight it is!!!! Klara has her first ever gymnastics competition in the morning so we drove down to Waco, TX to spend the night and be ready to roll out in the morning.....my Aunt n cousin who live in Austin drove up and met us so we could spend some much needed time together. When bedbugs destroyed our entire night!!!! Bedbugs that FAIRFIELD INN ON SOUTH SIDE IN WACO, TEXAS is infested with!!! TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE......OWNERS ARE AWARE OF THIS AND HAVE MADE NO EFFORTS TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM!!!! So not only did I pay more than i really wanted to for the room for my kids to have an indoor pool THAT IS CLOSED FOR REPAIR! But our entire weekend has been RUINED!!!! Please please please share!!!! Share this until theyve publicly apologized and done whatever they need to do to reimburse us both for our rooms!!!! THE PUBLIC SHOULD KNOW THAT FAIRFIELD INN IN WACO TEXAS IS INFESTED WITH BEDBUGS AND THEY KNOW IT AND REFUSE TO ACT!!!! Photos were taken in one room of bugs, meanwhile my son was bitten in a room 7 doors down!!!!!! THEY ARE EVERYWHERE !!!!!!! My son who has bites is freaking out as hes never heard of bedbugs and was jolted awake to scramble out of bed and pack meanwhile im freaking out and struggling to sign to him and help him understand what bedbugs are and why we need to get out of here......discovers hes actually been bitten and is currently in shower attempting to scrub off his top layers of skin almost because he feels my angst and doesnt want to take any chances!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 SHARE !!! I booked my room through Hotels.com. Upon check-in, I was assigned a room on the third floor. The room when I entered was already occupied. After going back down to the front desk, the desk clerk then wanted to assign me the room right next to the room where I entered and surprised the occupant! I insisted on a room on a different floor. When I got to the 2nd room, the key did not work forcing me back to the front desk where I acquired a working key finally. Throughout this whole process I'm lugging all of my luggage and business equipment. I slept it off and decided it was an unfortunate mistake until I checked out in the morning. When I went to check out, they could not verify my payment on Hotels.com and insisted it was an Exledia issue. The desk clerk insisted I leave a card on file with them to charge even though they took my card information the previous night for incidental. They said they lost my previous card information as well. This is still not resolved, but I had to leave due to a business appointment. Long story short, book the Comfort Inn or LaQuinta down the street. They are newer and likely don't have these problems. For the record, the staff was polite the entire time, just extremely unorganized.

The room was out dated with snow like ceiling. There was a tile in the restroom that was cracked and moved around when you stepped on it.
