Fairfield Inn Dallas DFW Airport North/Irving

I just had the most ignorant, unprofessional, uncouth exchange from somebody who SOMEHOW got promoted to assistant GM of this establishment. Marriott you have GOT to be kidding me. Seriously? This man responded via email to a private survey I completed about service and I stated that all was satisfactory except the water was not hot in my room and the pressure was low. I mentioned that I informed the front desk associate of the issue during my stay and was told that not only did other guests complain of the water issue, she TOO had experienced the same non hot water during her stay. In the email responding to my survey, this "Dr" manager eludes to some type of compensation for my inconveniences and invites me to call and discuss further. But the man in the email and the thing I spoke with gave two different energies. This man, who upon checking in, corrected one of his staff to address him as DOCTOR (immediate threw up in my mouth) ..that should have told me the Ego I was dealing with. Well while on the phone this joke of a "Dr" Manager went on to tell me that the water was not hot due to the room being an ADA one and basically thats what I asked for and I got what I got. He was completely unprofessional and non apologetic looking like somebody's off brand Saucy Santana. You will not speak to me in that tone, I dont care what higher ups deemed you qualified enough to be somebody's Assistant GM, I beg to differ! and I dont appreciate being hung up on. I am doing this review to give the people heads up about my experience with this nasty attitude supposed GM. I will never stay there again. He definitely must have used CHATGPT to create this email to me because who I got over the phone did not portray that same professionalism over the phone and TO BE CLEAR.. the data charges I inquired about was only an INQUIRY, genius..because I had no idea what those were especially since I purchased the extra data for optimal streaming on a fire stick I could NOT use because your staff didn't know how to assist me with the errors that were appearing on the screen..even after I asked were there a hotel tech support that could assist with the error message that kept populating on the screen, your staff did not know what to do and instead said that they would get back to me..and I never heard back therefore I never got to use my stick HENCE me inquiring about the data charges I purchased for nothing Sir Madam so get your information correct. Bottom line...dont stay here. **IF THE ADA ROOMS ALL HAVE NON HOT WATER THEN LET ALL YOUR GUESTS KNOW PRIOR TO BOOKING OR CHECK IN** Dr. Doolittle has ruined my day. Marriott please vett better management employee candidates. Please know that your comments have been escalated to our engineering and leadership teams for immediate review and corrective action to ensure this matter is fully resolved. The rooms are very clean, the front desk staff was friendly, and the amenities are nice, especially the breakfast and the indoor pool. The location is right in the middle of the Metroplex and right next to the airport.

This hotel was amazing and beyond accommodating! Dr. Deon Woods D. D. helped me and my entire family feel like we were at home after a long delayed frustrating flight from New York. He and his staff went above and beyond any “normal” customer service you get these days. He is an asset to Marriott. I highly recommend this property you will not be disappointed. Kory Jensen
