Very kind and helpful staff, and a pleasant stay overall. Our room had a small balcony with a lovely view of the beach, and the evening turndown service was a very nice touch. The windows were also exceptionally soundproof — despite facing a busy street and being light sleepers, we were not bothered by noise at all. The hotel has two pools, one with a beautiful view and another in a courtyard that feels a bit dated. The gym is good, but the main pool is quite small and more designed for relaxing than swimming. Overall the hotel feels a little older, and when it’s busy it can feel quite packed. One small detail: the light from the air-conditioning unit was very bright at night and lit up the room, so we had to cover it. Compared to more modern hotels in the city, the experience may feel slightly expensive for what it offers.
