From the moment I arrived, the experience went downhill. The woman at the front desk was openly unfriendly and gave the impression that she truly hated her job. There was no sense of hospitality at all. The room itself was dirty. There were ants crawling on the desk area/floor, and the room felt very tired and poorly maintained. The shower fixtures were literally held together with black tape, which says a lot about the level of upkeep. The bed was extremely uncomfortable—honestly comparable to sleeping on a concrete floor. I genuinely don’t understand how people sleep on it. I woke up everyday with back pain. To make matters worse, the balcony door did not lock, which is a serious safety concern. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels, and this is the first one I’ve ever encountered where the gym doesn’t open until 1:00 PM and then stays open until 11:00 PM. When I tried to use a treadmill, I was kicked out by staff. I had to exercise in the parking lot while the staff watched. Completely unacceptable. The pool was dirty and had no lounge chairs or even places to sit. Honestly it appeared the pool has not been used in a long time. The attached restaurant was randomly open and completely unreliable. The only positive thing I can say is that the nearby market and a 7-Eleven are a short walk away. There are far better places to stay in this area. I will never stay here again. This is easily one of the worst hotels I’ve experienced in Thailand.
