We dined here on New Year’s Eve on the £52 three-course set menu. Expectations were high unfortunately the experience was extremely poor. Both of us ordered the venison Wellington for the main course. It arrived cold, tough, and unpleasantly gamey to the point that it was completely inedible. Neither of us ate the dish and it was returned to the kitchen. The response from management was unacceptable. We were told the kitchen was closed and the only option available was dessert, despite the fact that we had not eaten our main course at all. No replacement, no refund offered at that point, and no meaningful attempt to resolve the issue. To make matters worse, when the bill arrived we were incorrectly charged for items that were clearly advertised as complimentary (bread and Prosecco). Only after further argument were the Prosecco and the mains removed from the bill, and we still left paying £80 for what amounted to a starter and a dessert. The food quality was poor, but the handling of the complaint and billing was far worse. For a New Year’s Eve service at this price point, this level of customer care is simply not acceptable. A very disappointing experience and not somewhere we would return to or recommend.

Myself and my partner had a lovely one-night stay at Feldon Valley for my birthday after discovering it on TikTok. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a relaxed, chilled break. It was incredibly peaceful and had such a zen atmosphere. The food was lovely, the service was great, and we had the best time. We can’t wait to return next year thankyou 🥰

Would definitely recommended for a short staycation to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. Friendly staff Good room Room - spacious and clean Location - it is a drive away to the centre but if you got a car it’s okay Staff - very nice and super friendly staff
