Ferien Hotel Spree-Neiße

All in all, it was a nice stay... we do have one small suggestion though... the scrambled eggs for breakfast didn't taste anything like eggs.

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend, and overall, it made a good impression. The staff were very friendly. The room, on the third floor with a balcony, was very small but modernly furnished. If you're planning a longer stay than a weekend, the wardrobe is definitely too small! The bathroom, on the other hand, was very large but also quite dated. I didn't feel particularly comfortable there. The balcony was okay, but the chairs were very worn and shabby. The food was alright, although I would have liked a larger salad bar. The hotel also has a playground and a small games room with billiards, table tennis, a climbing wall, and other activities, which I thought was a nice touch. We had a massage in the spa area. What I found odd was that you had to walk through the changing room to get to the spa area. There were two cubicles with wooden sliding doors. Since we had five minutes to spare, we ended up standing in the middle of the room where the loungers for the sauna users were located, and the sauna entrance was also in that room. We were standing in the room fully clothed when naked people came out of the sauna (which didn't bother me, but it was a strange feeling). The layout of the entire spa area wasn't great; it should have been designed differently, as the relaxation room for sauna users was essentially also the passageway to the pool. That didn't exactly make for a peaceful experience. Otherwise, the hotel is perfectly fine for a relaxing weekend getaway.

A very nice hotel. The food was excellent, including breakfast and coffee. Fresh flowers everywhere. Large outdoor area with sports facilities. There's an extra games room in a separate building. Everything was very clean.
