Fi̇la Otel Ayvalik

I've never seen such a terrible hotel management or hotel before. Stay in a guesthouse or something, don't bother with this. They put an intern at the check-in, give you a price list, and then when you leave, they say that's not our price. We've been in court for two years. They either buy the fake reviews or have them written themselves. Don't ruin your vacation.

We stayed for 3 nights in August. Yes, the price was reasonable, but it was a hotel where we wished we had stayed in a guesthouse instead. Positive aspects: Location. It's right by the sea, with its own private beach. That's the only positive point, but you can swim in the sea from anywhere in Sarımsaklı anyway. Negative aspects: The tap in our room was broken, and even though we told the staff on the first day, no one bothered to help. No one even came to change our towels for 3 days. The room was very dirty and neglected. We even went into the shower with our slippers. The bed was also neglected. We woke up with back pain. We stayed in a sea-view room. We paid extra for it, but we wish we hadn't. Right in front of the hotel, on the beach, there's a place that operates as a club at night. During the day, it's used as a beach. The loud music never stops. We couldn't open the windows at all. The breakfast is the same, and hygiene isn't given much attention. Flies were flying around the jams. The hotel does have its own beach and sunbeds, yes, but they only put down the cushions around lunchtime, and even then they're filthy. In short, the hotel's location is fantastic, the facilities are great, but it needs serious maintenance and renovation. If I ever come back to Sarımsaklı, I'll stay at another hotel on that street or a guesthouse in a back street; we won't be choosing this place again.
