Finca La Manuela holds a deeply special place in my heart. Every time I return to Colombia, this place makes me feel at home. It's a true blessing to see how much they've improved it: the investment in quality, care, and attention to detail is clearly evident, without losing its essence. I am so grateful that they continue to care so lovingly for Lorenzo the parrot and the two dogs, Negra and Barbas, who are incredible companions and a vital part of the farm's soul. The new enclosure for the animals is beautifully designed, and the path along the stream has been greatly improved; it's now even more pleasant and harmonious to walk along. Something I deeply appreciate is that the farm hasn't been spoiled by the noise and the aesthetics of the surrounding areas, which resemble bustling theme parks. La Manuela remains a true haven of calm, silence, and connection with nature. I'm also grateful that the original infrastructure of room 14 has been preserved. I used to stay where the new buildings are now, among the old avocado trees, which delighted me with the visits of the agoutis at dawn. Living in the city makes you long for precisely this kind of architecture and atmosphere when you seek out rural settings. And yet, the new construction is simply spectacular. The improvement in the food has been like night and day; the change in management is clearly noticeable. At the same time, I was very happy to see that they've retained some of the original staff, which adds continuity and warmth. Thank you also for modernizing spaces like the billiards area: the cues now allow you to truly enjoy the game, the massage area, the bar, and the new Turkish bath. And finally, thank you for bringing Chucho, a truly unparalleled host, who elevates the experience with his presence and attentiveness. Finca La Manuela remains, for me, a place I always want to return to.
