The room was well-equipped and clean. There was a kettle, instant coffee (no machine), and a broken refrigerator. I'm deducting one point for that. Another point is deducted for the access to the sauna/gym. As a woman, I didn't feel comfortable going down to the basement. Some of the doors had signs indicating video surveillance, and one door looked like it had already been forced open. There was a security door right next to the sauna. The sauna itself wasn't cozy, but it was warm. The hotel is located behind the train station. The area isn't particularly pleasant for a woman to be alone in the evening. However, it is conveniently close to Munich Central Station (MUC).

We discovered this hotel by chance. The main train station is directly across the street, and Stachus Square is just a short walk away. The rooms are clean and relatively large, and the bed (for me) is very comfortable. The shower area is huge. With the windows closed, you can't hear a thing from outside. The reception staff were very friendly, helpful, and always available. The hotel restaurant, where breakfast is also served, was excellent. We will definitely stay at this hotel again on our next visit to Munich. The price, value, and location are top-notch.

I stayed there a second time relatively soon after my first visit because I enjoyed the hotel so much. The breakfast was varied, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, it's been taken over by Motel One and will soon be renovated. In the future, I'll probably choose a different hotel near the train station or book a room at their sister hotel in Munich.
