Fodele Beach and Water Park Holiday Resort

I looked for a hotel on the beach and found this gem. I was very excited when we drove up to this hotel. The entrance is gated and you have to show them your reservation before they let you in. They have a lot of parking options but you can reach this resort also by taxi and bus. The bellboy took care of our luggage and the staff at the reception were very welcoming. We had George who served us and he explained us all the facilities and activities the resort offered. They also provided a map to show us the resort. We got a very great room with a nice sea view. The room was spacious, modern and clean. The shower pressure was nice. They also provided a minibar with drinks we could take. They have a small restaurant were it is self-service and you could go and grab something to eat or drink. We noticed that they had tip jars in a five star hotel which other five star hotels on the island don't offer. The animation team were great and always motivated and happy. The hotel is very kids friendly and they seem to love the animation team. There is also an arcade which was nice. We tried all the a la carte restaurant but we preferred the buffet. The buffet option were great. They had everything to offer especially when you have allergies or are intolerant. The view from each restaurant were also very nice. In the evening all hotel guest rest in the main bar area and have a drink. The beach is safe and close to the hotel. The waterpark and the tennis place was nice but quite a workout when you don't take the shuttle service. The hotel area also have a small shop where you can buy snacks or things like sun lotion. The hotel also provides a luggage room and a shower area for the departing guests. The only thing I don't like is that the luggage is not I a closed area means that everyone can grab your luggage because its not monitored and nobody is there since its self-service. The hotel is quite nice and very safe. As an improvement I want to mention the staff George. When we asked for actives 1 day later it was not nice to mention what we did all the time. Why we didn't discover the hotel and why we didn't do stuff. There are people who just want to hang at the pool the whole day and do nothing. Not all people are the same. Also the same on our last day when we were departing. A lady from the reception called us to inform that we could leave the luggage in the room and it gets picked up by the staff later. After the pool later in the afternoon when we went to the reception we met George again. We asked where the storage room is and the shower and he mentioned that his colleague told us this on the phone already. Why did we bother to ask again. This is not nice and not professional at all. When you work in the hospitality section and someone has a concern and ask you the same things over and over, you just patiently answer over and over again as well. I have a short time memory. If I knew where the storage room is I would of course not have asked. Also for you as a staff it is quite normal to know where all the things are because you work in this area all the time. We as a guest we just enjoy the amenities for a very short time. How should we know where what is. I do understand that he maybe didn't meant it in a negative way but it is how you express it to a guest in a five star hotel. This kind of behavior is nothing of a five star hotel. And especially not for the price we pay as guests.

Fodele Beach & Water Park Holiday Resort is a wonderful hotel that fully justifies its 5 stars. Very large and spacious, located in a quiet and picturesque place, where you can truly relax from the city noise. The territory is well-groomed, green and beautifully decorated, it is pleasant to walk at any time of the day. The staff works at an excellent level - friendly, attentive and always ready to help. We arrived early, and despite the later official check-in time, we were immediately allowed to use the territory, pools and restaurants, and the room was ready at 11:00 instead of 15:00. It was truly a pleasant surprise. I would like to separately note the food: the restaurants always have a large selection, the dishes are varied and delicious. There are options for both adults and children, there is always something new, good desserts, fresh pastries. The child really liked everything - especially the water park, which is really at a high level: clean, well-groomed, with a good selection of slides and a children's area. Another important plus is the bars in the hotel. The alcohol here is normal, not diluted, they poured branded drinks, not cheap local analogues. The cocktails are made with high quality, everything tastes very decent, without "homemade" substitutes, as is often the case in other all-inclusive hotels. Overall, the vacation left only positive impressions. Comfortable rooms, excellent service, beautiful territory, water park and high level of food make this hotel an ideal option for a family vacation. I give it 5 stars and sincerely recommend it!
