Had the most wonderful stay here recently for our first trip to Japan. The hotel was perfect in every way. Staff was warm, helpful, engaging, so nice. The food was excellent daily, the rooms beautiful, the lobby relaxing. The evening lobby entertainment was a nice treat. The location was fabulous. The hotel grounds and gardens were beautiful. A perfect hotel in every way. Thank you for making our first nights in Japan wonderful.

You should reconsider. There are plenty of other good hotels out there.

The area around the driveway is unusually dark, and you might bump into someone or get run over by a car. Other nearby hotels have a reasonable amount of lighting, but if they deliberately made it dark for design purposes, then their poor judgment is a no-no. Also, the staff didn't work well together, and with so many cars arriving for an event, they were so flustered they couldn't properly guide customers. This is something that is rarely seen in the top-class hotels nearby. It's very disappointing that there has been no growth since before COVID-19.
