Great hotel, but it falls short of its ambitions. The best thing about it: almost all the staff. There are always a couple of exceptions, but overall, they're the best part of the hotel. The hotel has somewhat outdated rooms (and a third-world sofa bed that was originally intended for my 13-year-old daughter, who paid the adult price, but I didn't want her to sleep on it because it looked incredibly uncomfortable). The prices are high, and the overall experience leaves much to be desired, especially in terms of food and beverage service. After three days with the all-inclusive package, we can say that the variety of dishes at the buffets is poor, with even less variety for children (and this is a major problem). The facilities are very nice, and the views are wonderful thanks to its location. I want to give a special mention to Davinia, who treated my family exceptionally well at every meal we shared. But she wasn't the only one; all the staff (except for three, whose names I won't mention out of respect and who are probably tired of serving elderly foreigners) were absolutely wonderful. From the cleaning staff and chambermaids to the bar and restaurant staff, cooks, and receptionists... EVERYONE was always smiling, greeting guests, and ready to help in any way they could. In short, for the prices they charge, they should improve the quality of the buffets and make better use of the talent and friendliness of the team that works there. My feeling is that they're content to fleece foreigners with prices that are already very high for domestic tourists. I hope I can return someday and see that everything is even better!

The hotel is very nice and the rooms are good, but when you book, they force you to book with breakfast included, and the breakfast is terrible. There's very little variety; they need to update the menu. People get tired of eating the same thing every day. On Sunday, there's hardly any food for breakfast, and on Monday, forget about it—just omelet, eggs, and sausages. What can I say? That's not breakfast. Then, if you go to have lunch there, they charge you 20 euros, and drinks are extra. For three people, that's 8 euros just for drinks. If you go to the El Olivo restaurant, it's even worse because they don't have anything except salad and sandwiches. I'm not going to pay 16 euros for a sandwich, so the El Olivo restaurant won't be doing well. It'll just be drinks, so it's cheaper to have lunch and dinner out. On top of lowering prices, they only raise them. I don't know what the point is of being a member of the Friends Club if they don't give you any discounts.
