It feels like the guests have an entire mountain to themselves in a quiet, secluded spot. Since the surroundings are such a small hot spring village, most of the establishments are ryokans, and the only famous food is eel!!! The hot springs were the best, and the healing experience was perfect, but it is a nature-friendly rural hot spring where it would likely feel very boring if you stayed for more than a day. The air is excellent, the scenery is superb, and the facilities are good too, haha. I haven't seen any Koreans; it seems to be a hot spring famous among Japanese people.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay at ONCRI Koyu Onsen Hotel. Upon arrival, the staff proactively helped with our luggage and prepared welcome snacks and drinks, allowing us to relax in the lobby seating area. The overall service was very attentive. We stayed in a four-person Japanese-style room, and the tatami mats and bedding were incredibly soft and comfortable. When we went out for dinner, the staff had already made up the bed, so we could rest immediately upon returning to our room – a thoughtful touch that really added to our experience. The kaiseki dinner was exquisite and delicious 😋 The staff were also very friendly. However, the portions might be a little small for men. The breakfast the next day was surprisingly satisfying! The variety of dishes was plentiful, and we were very full and satisfied. There was also a children's play area in the lobby, which my 2-year-old son thoroughly enjoyed. We also went to the large public bath in the morning. When we arrived at the women's bath around 8:30 am, it was completely empty – a fantastic experience! After soaking in the hot spring, we relaxed in the steam room, then changed clothes and got a massage. The whole process was truly enjoyable! 👍🏻 This four-person room, including one night's stay and two meals, cost approximately NT$16,000. Considering the overall service, environment, and experience, we felt it was well worth it. It was a very pleasant stay!
