A horrible experience! A so-called charming hotel that's nothing more than a relic painted blue! An old village house with creaking floorboards, rooms with no soundproofing that let you hear everything your neighbors are saying, doors with gaps in the windows, a bathroom that's basically a closet, and a shower that had to be fixed the next day because the very young man who greeted us was clearly overwhelmed. The sink in the room had a tap that sprayed brownish water all the way into the middle of the room. The young man disappeared, and... we had to mop it up ourselves with tissues. The electrical outlet was behind the pipes, under the sink, and the light was just inches from the shower—nothing was up to code. The carpet, the bench, the armchair were disgustingly filthy. The cupboard was stained, and there was hair on the floor (my white terrycloth slippers went straight in the bin after this unintentional haul). The shutters and the door to the tiny 2m² "balcony" were in a very advanced state of disrepair. Breakfast is served opposite, on a terrace with a fabric awning that protects from the rain (but not from the wind or the cold). A real effort has been made with this service, but it remains quite basic. Nothing extraordinary. And the hotel, in my opinion, is absolutely not a 4-star establishment! I wonder how they managed to get those stars! As for the manager, or owner, I don't know, since he didn't introduce himself, he was indeed there on the morning of our departure (we had booked for two nights). No apology was given for the tap or the shower; the luggage, as it had been brought up, had to be carried down by us without assistance, down a narrow spiral staircase with no handrail—a real death trap! This establishment is a complete rip-off: dirty, poorly maintained, and certainly not deserving of the label "boutique hotel." Avoid it at all costs!

Very picturesque place and the room harmonized with the environment, as if from a fairy tale of the early 20th century. Very clean and well-kept. The service was very prompt and polite. The layout of the space was very comfortable and convenient, there were many amenities. Perhaps the somewhat negative was the reduced soundproofing, you could hear the conversations of passers-by from outside.
