Lovely hotel with a lot of roses and citrus trees. Room is spacious and comfortable. Will definitely stay in this hotel if going back to Fresno.

A very bad experience. When we entered room 112, it was immediately VERY hot. The heater showed 80F, and the door to our only room was open. This means management was aware of the problem. The temperature felt higher than 80F. There is a notice above the heater: Do not set the temperature below 69 or above 80. This is December. We opened all the windows and doors, set the minimum temperature, but the heater continued to work. The heater in our room is broken. The temperature does not drop below 77-80. For us, 69 is high; I would prefer 64. In the evening, I told the manager about this. He said, "I'll turn the heating off now, and then turn it back on later and your temperature will be fine." The temperature dropped a little and then rose again. I'm sure the manager knew about this problem, but he did not change the room. It is impossible to sleep. That night, we went to the manager again. He promised to turn off the heater and move us in the morning. It's 2 a.m. and we can't sleep. Besides, half the switches don't work, the outlets are under the table, and there aren't enough of them. To plug in the chargers, you have to crawl under the table on your knees. There's a humming noise behind the wall. I know the hotel has a good rating, but our experience was very bad. I don't recommend it.
