We came for New Year's to treat ourselves to a short two-night getaway, and overall, the experience was a great success. As many reviews have already mentioned, the view is absolutely magnificent: the panorama is breathtaking. It's a real sense of escape, while still being very close to the city center, accessible in just 15 minutes by car. Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome from the staff, which immediately made a good impression. The room was exactly as booked through Booking.com. One small drawback, however, was the Superior Double Room: the window curtains weren't thick enough, which meant the sun woke us up quite early in the morning. Blackout curtains would be a real improvement. Apart from this detail, the room was clean and pleasant, with a large bathtub and a very comfortable bed. We also enjoyed breakfast overlooking the view, an absolutely superb moment given the beautiful scenery. Breakfast was good and offered a decent selection, although we found it a bit pricey for our taste (€20 per person). Special mention goes to the bartender, who was particularly friendly and pleasant. We also really enjoyed the fireplace in the common room: a real bonus, very warm and comforting, especially at this time of year. In short, we had a great stay and we recommend this establishment, especially if you're looking to get away and enjoy a change of scenery.
