Everything was perfect! The room was very clean and comfortable, although not particularly spacious. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and everything went smoothly during our stay. I gave one star less because of the location — there is no parking at the hotel anymore. You can still see the old parking area in the photos on Google Maps, but it no longer exists, as a new building has been constructed there.

Overall, we had a wonderful time. We particularly want to emphasize the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was attentive and helpful. We also really liked the room (a slightly larger Superior Room): tastefully decorated, well-equipped, and clean. At breakfast, we were regularly asked if we would like egg dishes or additional drinks. Truly attentive service! Unfortunately, our joy was dampened by the closed spa area. We had specifically chosen the hotel to combine a city trip with a bit of wellness. During our stay, the entire area was closed for renovations starting October 19th. We would have appreciated a notice of this when booking or checking in. Bathrobes were still provided, and the elevator still leads to the basement, where you literally stand in front of a construction site in your bathrobe. This was disappointing for us, especially since it was our honeymoon. The staff responded very kindly to our complaint and offered us a free spa visit at a partner hotel as compensation (which we didn't use due to the distance). I subsequently saw that Booking.com does indeed mention the renovation – albeit under "Legal and Important Information," which you only find after clicking on "Read more." It was too hidden for me, especially since we booked the same week the work began. It would also have been nice if they had at least offered us a room with an airpool bathtub – as a small compensation and to provide a modicum of wellness. Other travelers' questions also still state that the spa area is open "during your stay" – this should be updated. It's a shame, because without this point, the stay would have been truly successful.
