GH Diana hotel

I was ment to post this review months ago but I was so upset and disappointed that I tried to forget about it and just ignore it but I can’t in good conscience ignore it. Everything was bad, from the customer service, rooms, trashy reception, unclean entrance, basic necessities in the rooms, the pool infested with wasps and mosquitoes and them not even trimming their bushes, being forced to literally walk on the road, as there was impossible to walk on the pavement, extremely poor choice of breakfast and also lying about the distance from the hotel to the beach. I am going to start with the “customer service provided”. Because there was no basic necessities in the room like a kettle, glasses and cups, I am not even mentioning an iron, but when I asked about this, I received the answer that “we don’t provide these for basic rooms” excuse me, this is a 4 star hotel and in my life I’ve even been to 2.5 star hotels and they had an iron, glasses, a kettle and cups( I am not going to mention the 3 or 4 star hotels) also there was only one kettle available to be “borrowed” and an iron, but when you had to plugged them in, it wasn’t fitting so of course we asked a few times for a an adaptor, which we’ve received but we’ve been asked to bring it back as soon as possible because this is the only adaptor they had for all guests.. one adaptor for a hotel? Wtf. And the behaviour of the staff it was outrageous, apart from the lady I forgot her name, from Slovakia I think she was. Another “customer service” situation it was when they lied to my face that the beach is at a 10 minutes walk, which it wasn’t it was a 25 minutes walk! I’ve checked their website and of course they lied there as well. The sofas in the reception were trash, and definitely not for a 4 star hotel, not even 1 star. The entrance was dirty, they have like a long sofa that had stains of urine on it, possibly an animal. If you wanted to seat at the pool, it was infested with mosquitoes, I’ve never been in my life so bitten by mosquitoes, it looked like I have been bitten by a tarantula. Apart from the hotel area, I’ve had no issues with mosquitoes, and I am wondering, do they not have any consideration regarding their customers health and safety? The breakfast it was a complete disappointment. If you had the audacity to go to breakfast at 9, there was nothing left for you to eat. I would like to mention that this hotel is a maximum of 2 star, not more! Please avoid this place like the plague. Also forgot to mention that when I asked about glasses or cups, I received plastic cups, even if they clearly had glasses or cups.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The property is loud, dirty, and very outdated. Cleanliness was clearly lacking, and the overall condition of the hotel felt neglected and poorly maintained. The food was awful we only tried breakfast, and that alone was enough to put us off eating there again. Our room was also impractical and uncomfortable due to an unnecessary extra bed being placed inside, which meant there was no space for our suitcases at all. We had booked four nights but left after just two because the experience was so bad. The only positive aspect of our stay was the women at reception, who were polite, sadly, they were the only redeeming feature. We would never return and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were disappointed by this hotel. It doesn't deserve 4 stars. The rooms are decent, but don't take the full board option; you'll be disappointed! We had lasagna, and it was a tiny square! I've never eaten lasagna like that—little meat, no béchamel sauce, in short, very dry! The tiramisu wasn't even homemade. Make an effort when you're paying €35 per person! Furthermore, I had informed them that we were leaving at 6:00 AM so as not to miss our flight, but the door was locked. I was told it would be opened or that someone would be there. At 6:00 AM, there was no one in sight. A little respect for your guests wouldn't hurt; we had to leave through the emergency exit! They don't speak French.
