For the price of these rooms i felt like they were subpar at best. The staff was friendly and its right outside the ski hill but anywhere else this hotel would be a low budget option. I wouldnt return for free nights here.

Absolutely disappointing! We recently stayed at Glacier Mountaineer Lodge and unfortunately had a very frustrating experience. The rooms are very dated and in serious need of updating. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, honestly, a sheet of cardboard might have been an improvement. The only bedding provided were flat sheets and thin, low-quality fleece blankets, which felt cheap and inadequate for a mountain lodge. To make matters worse, the elevator was broken for our entire trip, and we were staying on the 4th floor. Carrying luggage up and down multiple times was not what we expected. The steam room was also out of order the whole time. Then on day two, both the hot tub and dry sauna broke as well. At that point, most of the amenities we were looking forward to were unusable. The fireplace in the room was barely functional, adding to the overall feeling that maintenance is not a priority here. Every time we raised concerns, staff seemed to have an excuse rather than a solution. The only real positives were the restaurants nearby and the Kicking Horse resort itself, which are great, but not because of the lodge. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations, especially considering the price. Stay in Golden, you'll have a better time.

true ski in and ski out experience。 appliance is a bit old. Takes forever for stove to boil a pot of water. Cost extra for underground parking. No ski boot allow in the room, but there are ski boot rack at ground floor. Benches for changing boots. They have ski cabinets but hard to get one
