A great location, cozy and atmospheric rooms (and very warm, which is important this time of year!), and extremely helpful and friendly staff. This hotel is sure to appeal to those looking for stylish décor and a cozy room in the heart of Krakow.

The only positive aspect is the location, very central and close to everything. Otherwise, the building is old and dark, with extremely dated furnishings, creaky floors that make you feel guilty towards the people downstairs if you dare move, a musty smell everywhere, and no staff. The room was tiny and equipped with almost nothing: one towel for everything (😅) and for the entire five days of our stay (since I didn't see anyone, it was impossible to ask for anything else); no way to store the few clothes I had, no closet or drawers or anything similar, except for a small coat hanger (but put your coat there and that's it! I had to leave everything piled on the only available chair; it weighs on me for five days straight!); it was impossible to air the room in my absence (January, -10 degrees, I couldn't stay in there with the window open) because the only opening in the room has no protection/mosquito net/barrier of any kind, so it would have been like leaving the room open to everyone; When I arrived, I had to make my own bed because the blanket and duvet (very small, child-sized) were folded and stored elsewhere. I didn't pay much for a single room either. For the same amount, I would have definitely found a more decent, independent apartment, perhaps a little more secluded. Another negative note: the outside entrance is shared with a very popular nightclub open every night, and on my way back, I was promptly stopped by security with a threatening look, even though it was clear I was headed for the front door and not the nightclub. It may seem silly, but after one, two, three nights, they got a bit annoyed... To conclude: when I left, I was accused of smoking in my room. Okay, I'm a smoker, but I have the healthy habit of not smoking even inside my own home, and while I was there, I only ever used the open and permitted spaces. The woman kept insisting and showing me photos: rummaging through the trash can, she'd found cigarette butts. It was almost pointless to explain to her that I'd actually just emptied the ashtray outside that no one had bothered to clean. She insisted on charging me a penalty because they'd have to do extra cleaning (and it's about time! Damn, open the windows every now and then. Even in winter, otherwise it's suffocating!). Beyond the point, the annoying thing was the accusatory, rude tone, the way she spoke to me as if I were stupid or a child. No, no, that's not how you treat customers! Failed, sorry.
