We are first-time tourists visiting Türkiye, and we came as a group of four friends. We had an incredibly bad experience. A guest arrived from abroad for a meeting, and when we wanted to go up to the room for a preliminary discussion, we were not allowed in for an hour.

The food and drinks were excellent: great taste, very good quality, always fresh, a wide selection, attractive presentation, and friendly and dedicated staff in the restaurants, bars, and lobby. There's absolutely nothing to complain about, only praise. This also applies to the Gloria Golf Club and the Golf Club Restaurant. The technical condition of the room was less than ideal. The minibar broke down several times, the sink leaked, and there were two problems with the lighting. Room service had to be nudged at first; I'll spare you the details. Evening service was so-so, and the glass shelves in the room weren't clean. On the few days when the balcony could be used in good weather, the construction noise was quite loud. It was anything but peaceful. Of course, it's probably busier here in the summer. But I wouldn't come then anyway. There's no dress code. A "beach vibe" in winter isn't for me either. Okay, the hotel can't be held responsible for some guests, like noisy children at the bar in the evenings or others who don't behave and dress properly. But it should at least address these issues. Since a few other minor things were also found to be bothersome, I can't rate the Gloria Serenity more than 3 stars. It's a real shame.
