A very tidy and clean hotel. The location is central but a bit out of the way, about a 10-minute walk to the subway or 15 minutes to the BTS. The pool and gym are a welcome change of pace and of a decent size. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathroom is good too. The breakfast buffet is meager. However, the à la carte dishes and fresh egg dishes are good. Unfortunately, coffee has to be ordered, which isn't ideal as it's often forgotten.

The new hotel is novel, clean, and modern, but the ceilings in the rooms have cracks, possibly due to the previous earthquake, which affects the aesthetics! I stayed for three nights and only met the friendly and lovely receptionist (the only short-haired female staff member who could speak some Chinese) when I checked out on the last day. Her service was super attentive and greatly enhanced the overall hotel experience 👍🏻 The only drawback might be that the meals are à la carte, and the food selection in the buffet area is limited!
