Excellent location, although the street is dark at night (but that's not the hotel's fault). The biggest issue is cleanliness: it's very dusty, and the bathroom wasn't cleaned in our 3-day stay; only the towels were changed. Breakfast was limited, but adequate.

Very dirty, old, noisy, ugly, badly located, and the receptionist was very unpleasant. We booked through Last Minute and it was a complete rip-off. Horrible. The photos they show online of the facade and reception area are outdated, and some are fake.

Having traveled extensively as a couple and stayed in many hotels, this one doesn't feel like a 4-star. I'd say more like a 2 or maybe a 3, but no higher. The room was clean, a bit dated, but well-heated—important given the January temperatures. The bedding was adequate. If you like firm mattresses, this isn't the place for you. We had two twin beds, so two rather small duvets that didn't fit under the mattress, meaning our feet were exposed several times during the night. There were several pillows, the most comfortable and largest being feathers...avoid if you have allergies! The shower was fine, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The hairdryer was ideal for short hair, so if you have long, thick hair, bring your own. Our towels were changed when we asked for the room to be cleaned. The breakfast was decent, nothing special. A good selection of sweet and savory options was available. Coffee lovers, stay away! The staff is friendly and responsive to customer requests. To reach the city center, you'll need to walk downhill for 25 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a taxi, which isn't very expensive. We stayed for three nights, so it did the job, but if you're planning a week-long stay, this hotel is a bit lacking in comfort. A small kettle with tea and coffee in the rooms would have been a welcome addition.
