My family and I stayed here during the summer. The family A-frame villa we booked was lovely—it was the highlight of our stay. But I just can't help but notice how inconsistent the rest of the place is. Our villa may be nice, but it's quite a walk from the rest of the amenities. The pool seems old—rusty components and tiles that are no longer holding together, it's a safety hazard. Just a heads up that you have to pay for the some of the activities. Your room may or may not have a free kayak session included. Other activities like cycling and billiards are not free. The food in the restaurant is expensive (portion sizes are disappointing) and the serving time takes almost an hour. Don't get me wrong, the staff are friendly. It's just that this resort doesn't really live up to the expectation it tries to advertise. Was it worth the pricetag? For this experience, maybe not. But if they can improve in the future, they can compete with the other newer resorts in the area.

I stayed for one night it happened to be when the earthquake happened. I arrived after dark, had dinner and went to sleep then it hit. The generator came on after a few minutes thankfully then walked to the front reception area and no one was there no staff they all left. There were two security guards and they did absolutely nothing but look at their phones. Gave no direction or any information about what to do. I didn’t have any cell signal and I asked him if there was a tsunami warning and he literally laughed at me shook his head and walked away! I had no idea where the beach was in relation to me and it was pitch black out. There had been a tsunami warning issued but fortunately it didn’t come but for the price of the room there should have been someone there to give me some information. I emailed the manager last week with no reply so they get a 1 star ding for terrible service
