Excellent hotel in a central location (1.5 km from the centre) outside the restricted traffic zone and convenient for the inexpensive Belfiore daily car park (€10 per day).

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in!! 3 stars given away. Dirty rooms, blankets not suitable for winter; they aren't even changed, just put back on the bed. The shower and bathroom doors are broken, and air comes in through the window even though it's closed, bringing in mosquitoes with it. The window was also dirty, as were the walls, floor, and desk. The bed slats are held in place with butter; two of them came out just by lying on them. The breakfast is awful; the staff stares at you and responds rudely; the coffee filter hasn't been changed since it opened; there's very little privacy due to the practically breathable walls; the Wi-Fi doesn't work, let alone mobile data. The hairdryer is probably 50 years old; it would overheat and stop working after a few minutes, leaving you worried it might explode in your hand; and the photos are completely misleading. The tourist tax is refunded, and a staff member approached us after smoking a joint (without offering us a drag), whispering in a strange way and with a unique ability to make us feel uncomfortable. The location is good, but despite being close to the station (a 10-minute walk), it's still in a rough area (there were people clearly high on drugs lying in the street).
