We stayed here from April 28th to May 5th, 2025. We had a wonderful time! The buffet was very diverse, with something for everyone. The pita bread, burgers, and pizzas at Zorbas were also truly delicious! The cocktails are also highly recommended. You can get them in a glass at the bar or "on the go" in a plastic cup. The staff was very friendly! There were 14 of us, "one big Greek family"—four families with six children aged 8 to 16, and eight adults aged 43 to 72. It was fantastic! Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great for the first four days, which is nobody's fault. What was striking was that they still tried to make everything as pleasant as possible for all the guests. They managed everything smoothly at the buffets. Everyone had to sit inside because of the weather. With a little patience from the guests and the staff, this worked out perfectly. The cleaning was also good, as were the spacious family rooms. Because the hotel is designed like a park and has several swimming pools, you don't notice the large number of guests. The bad weather also brought us many enjoyable experiences. We rented cars near the hotel from Caroline Rental, a very friendly woman from Belgium. It was also affordable. We visited the Palace of Knossos (recommended to take a guide!), the Sfentoni caves, Chersonissos, and Matala, among other places. Crete is beautiful, truly beautiful. The days when we had wonderful weather were wonderful at the pool and on the beach. Gouves is a small village with several nice souvenir shops. And so many friendly Greek people. We also had a photoshoot with Denia at Say Cheeeese Photography, a friendly and excellent photographer! The shoot was at the hotel and on the beach. Extra wonderful memories. In short, highly recommended.

We visited this hotel in August 2025 - we thought the staff were mostly lovely and the room was fine. The lady who cleaned our room was amazing and very friendly with our kids. However, the food really let this hotel down - it was incredibly repetitive and it looked like they put some of the dishes out for every meal throughout the day (ie the salad). We actually left the a la carte restaurant before even finishing our food as it was so disappointing. The lunch and snack stations were pretty good (pizza, gyros and ice creams) but we're only open at specific times. I wouldn't return here again and I wouldn't recommend it. It definitely wasn't worth the price we paid.
