I was disappointed for a second time with my room unfortunately. When you’re paying £220+ a night you expect things to be…clean and comfortable? The sofa was dirty as were the cushions. The curtains were broken and I was greeted rather abruptly by reception when I asked for green tea bags and was shunned in a way that wasn’t necessary. The shower head is extremely basic, looks like a student accommodation shower and really isn’t acceptable for a superior room which we paid for. The plug socket by the bed was also broken and missing a cover so the underwriting was visible. The staff are all lovely and accommodating but unfortunately the rooms are a real let down which is such a shame. I also think if you’re paying a premium for a room you shouldn’t have to pay £26 for parking, seems cheeky.
