Grand Ant Hotel

I don't usually leave negative reviews. I'm a respectful and considerate person, but when something isn't right, I say so, out of honesty towards other travelers. I'll mention the few positive points: we had water every day, with no problems whatsoever with hot water. The bathroom was small, but the shower was still decent and fairly spacious. Otherwise, the experience was very poor. Hygiene was completely lacking: the room was dirty, the floor was never cleaned, and the overall condition was very dilapidated and run-down. The sheets were stained, even the towels, and I don't even know if they were changed. During our four-day stay, the room was only cleaned twice, despite our repeated requests. In the morning, we were told "yes, yes," but in the end, the room wasn't cleaned. At one point, the man threw the towels at us, and I had to put them away myself. I spent the entire stay cleaning and tidying the room by myself, waiting for him to return, which never happened. Breakfast was truly awful: no fresh produce, very poor quality, and a clear lack of hygiene. My husband and I only ate it twice. On the other days, we preferred to eat out, and our children refused to eat it because it was so bad. I should also mention that I wasn't originally supposed to stay at this hotel. It was the travel agency I booked through online, FRAM TRAVEL, that assured me this hotel was "very good" and easily on par with five-star hotels, explaining that a three-star rating meant nothing. Having stayed in very comfortable hotels before, I followed their advice, and I am absolutely disappointed with the result. Finally, the reception and service were very disappointing: unfriendly staff, poor service, no consideration, no respect or kindness towards guests. It's truly regrettable, especially in a country like Turkey, known for its hospitality. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel.

We made our reservations through an agency which tells you all you need to know. You get what you paid for but the rooms were truly atrocious. However, excellent staff! Which is why I upped my score a bit.

I stayed for a couple of days here, the hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast was good, decent, you have options a bit of everything. The room was also clean and warm. The only problem my friend and i had was with the cleaning man. Up on our arrival he was still cleaning the room even tho the receptionist told us all the rooms are ready. That's not the problem here, the second day when we entered our room from breakfast he was there in the bathroom and started talking to us aggressively about the towels. I dont know what he was talking because he was talking in Turkish and when we asked can you speak English so we could discuss this, he just ignored us and kept talking and complaining i assume how the towels were dirty to our faces, that was a very unpleasant situation, i felt so uncomfortable that he had to complain to our faces. Even worse HE DID NOT EVEN CHANGE THE ROOM LINENS during our stay. Even though it says in the bathroom they will change the towels and room linens every two days to save water. Also, we did not even get a hand towel, just 4, 2 for body and 2 for hair. Please, changing is a necessity, you need to start changing it everyday, it's unhygienic.
