The service here is something awful and staff could not care less. The room was barely cleaned when they do finally show up to clean it. They didn’t even leave new towels. And they left the used ones. Don’t bother calling down for towels, they do not bring them. They take the garbage from the hotel room and put it in the cans by elevators. Let’s not even mention the air conditioning, I couldn’t sleep with the level of noise it gives off. And don’t bother sitting on balcony as the vent from air conditioning is on balcony, it is the most horrific noise. Did I bother mentioning the closets. There isn’t any. They give you a cabinet to hang your clothes. The only nice staff were the bellman and beach staff All in all they should be ashamed to call themselves a top hotel. They don’t even give you water. Was told to go buy. I would give it zero stars if that option was offered.

We recently stayed at Grand Beach Hotel Surfside with our family and as part of a group. While we initially experienced a misunderstanding regarding a room upgrade and some room comfort issues, we truly appreciated the way management handled the situation. Ms. Garcia, the Front Office Manager, demonstrated professionalism, patience, and genuine care in reviewing our concerns and working toward a fair resolution. Her follow-up and personal involvement made a real difference. We also appreciated the assistance of Clémence, who helped facilitate communication during our stay. What matters most is not that challenges never arise, but how they are handled — and in our case, the hotel showed accountability and a willingness to make things right. We look forward to returning in the future.
