Be very careful when you book that you actually are getting a room in the main hotel. We booked for NYE at this hotel specifically because we wanted the package with the gala and the dinner the next day. We booked here because we wanted to be in the hotel and not have to leave. When we arrived we were informed that our room was actually in the “residences” next door. A completely separate building that you had to walk outside and down the street to. NOT what we booked. This “residence” is like a cheap run down motel. No services in this part. A tiny room, tiny bathroom-all in disrepair. We went to the main hotels front desk and explained this room was unacceptable and not what we had booked. We were supposed to be in the main hotel. Mind you- we paid for a two day package to include dinners, bought the private spa and massages. We spent a considerable amount of money. We were told sorry- if you want a room in the main hotel it will cost 600 euro more the first night and 900 euro the second night. No where when we booked did it say we would be put in a separate building. We had to bundle up in our coats to walk to the main hotel for all of the events. Not why we booked here. Extremely disappointing. Make sure you know where they are going to put you BEFORE you book.

A hotel with undeniable charm, elegant and refined historic rooms, and good service. The room was subpar, small, and not soundproofed, and connected via a tall door to another room. The antique furniture, however, was neglected and unrestored. A small wardrobe with a small camping table for suitcases...
