I haven't experienced such excellent service in a long time – even at high-end hotels. I can recommend it on every level! The staff is incredibly attentive, friendly, and competent. Top location, very clean and stylish modern rooms. The only downsides are the open shower – not ideal if you're not traveling with a partner, for example – and the lack of ventilation in the toilet.

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Wiesler for three days. The price-performance ratio was completely unacceptable. We disliked the entire hotel's ambiance. It's clear an interior designer had gone completely overboard and probably would never want to stay there. The room had no wardrobe or any other storage space, so we had to live out of our suitcases for three days. There was an open clothes rack, and clothes hung over a dilapidated sideboard above a coffee machine. There was no way to dry damp towels. Towels didn't even have hooks. Cleanliness and room service left much to be desired. Used glasses were left out for three days, even though we had already mentioned this to the staff at breakfast. There was a full sanitary bag under the sideboard in the room; I'd rather not know what was in it. Breakfast itself was very good. However, the buffet, which was haphazardly assembled daily from the bar furniture, was crammed into the room far too tightly. It was practically impossible to eat breakfast there in peace. The self-service coffee machine was located directly in front of the kitchen door, so you constantly had to dodge the waitstaff. The bar area was lovely in the evening, and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the bar was closed on Sunday evening. There wasn't even a glass of wine available for hotel guests. The only positive aspect of the hotel is its excellent location near the beautiful city center of Graz, which we would certainly like to visit again, but we will not be staying at the Grandhotel Wiesler. After expressing our dissatisfaction at checkout, we were at least given a discount on the parking fee.
