I would like to thank Dang (please apologize if I am not spelling this very right) for making our experience here the best during our stay at Grand Mecure during 9-11 November. We arrived on 9 December and were checked in by his colleague where we received very mediocre service - I am an Accor+ status holder but was not granted any of the tier's benefits initially. In addition, I tried reaching the hotel room service multiple times post checking in and no one picked up at all. I reflected my bad experience to Dang at the reception who was empathetic to the situation and thoughtfully helped us with our needs, even checking in again if we needed further help. His proactiveness and great attitude is highly commendable and I hope that the hotel management rewards him for his good work.

The environment was comfortable and I slept very well. The breakfast on the second floor of the hotel was the most satisfying I had in Hanoi on two separate days (French bread and pho) – a must-try! You can also come here in the evening for pizza and drinks; it's clean, hygienic, and has a great atmosphere. 👍👍👍
