Lovely hotel with great reception team who resolved my issue with the air con quickly. I'm going to put the inadequate room cleaning down to Ramadan. However do be aware that currently March 26 there is a lot of building work going on, on property that surrounds the hotel

For the money we pay was good , but definitely it’s not a 5 star . The pool area is nice .

The hotel is well-maintained, clean, and in a good location. The rooms are interesting and atmospheric, but they reek of paint. There's also a lack of decent coffee or tea in the rooms – there's always a large selection these days, but here it's only instant coffee. The common area is thoughtfully designed and pretty, but the smell could be nicer. The service is friendly, but it's hard to find something. The restaurant is poor – limited variety, and empty bowls aren't refilled – personally, that's a bummer for me. The staff gives the impression they're disinterested. What's the problem with letting the kitchen know there are empty bowls (unless it's a policy to save on guests, and that's at the beginning of dinner, for example?). There are no labels next to the dishes – you don't know what you're eating!!! What if you have allergies or are on a diet??? And basically everything is unseasoned – it would be even more distressing if they had some spices on the table, other than salt and pepper. Moroccan cuisine has so many flavors, but here they're completely absent. There's little fresh raw fruit and vegetables, and the climate is unfavorable. The hotel has potential, but so far, it hasn't capitalized on it. Five stars is an exaggeration.
