The hotel is clean and pleasant, but the front desk staff was quite rude or perhaps there was a miscommunication. I arrived at check-in at 11 AM, but the normal check-in time is 3 PM. I managed to drop off my luggage, but when I went to check in at the front desk, I found them behaving rudely and exhibiting inappropriate behavior. I couldn’t comprehend why they were acting that way. Despite this unpleasant experience at the front desk, the rest of the hotel staff was generally friendly and welcoming. Another issue is the commute from the train station to the hotel. It’s a steep hill, so you’ll have to walk up. If you have more luggage, it becomes hectic. If you go back and forth from the train station to the hotel, it can also be hectic. The hotel is only about 25 minutes away from Ginza and Shibuya, but remember, the uphill walk will tire you out.

The moment I entered the room, I noticed trash on the carpet, and balloons on the balcony. I wondered if they'd just cleaned it. I had breakfast at Zakuro, but was it okay to just wait in line? Should I have told the reception how many people I was with? There was no guidance at all, and perhaps because they were busy, the male staff were unpleasant to deal with. There was a big difference between good and bad impressions of the front desk, bell desk, and restaurant staff. I felt rushed waiting in front of the room for cleaning, but everyone greeted me with a smile, which made a good impression.
