1. Party and meal, December 31, 2025, $195 USD per person. The five dishes were fairly average for the price, but the party was disappointing. The music was inappropriate, nobody was dancing, and there were few people in a small artificial grass plaza with no atmosphere. The fireworks display lasted three minutes at midnight. 2. Many activities in Cabo are boat trips departing from the port at 7:30 am, and the port is half an hour from the hotel. Breakfast starts at 7:00 am, making it impossible to eat in time. We spent half an hour at reception trying to find a solution to get some fruit or a sandwich earlier or the night before, and we were transferred between three managers on the phone, but nothing came of it. Just apologies about inventory, etc. The mental rigidity of the executives at a $1000 USD-a-night hotel is unbelievable.

We have never been treated so poorly by a resort before. They made it very difficult to get on and off property and made no effort when I was literally in tears trying to see family. I do not reccomend staying here.

We visited Cabo a couple of years ago and wanted to return after having a great time. We stayed at Grand Solmar Lands End and it was a great stay. The resort is very well maintained and the associates are friendly and always eager to help. We stayed 5 nights and booked through Costco which included 4 $50 certificates that could be used at the spa. I loved the spa so much I went back a second time during my stay. Ivet was my masseur both times and it was the highlight of the trip for me. We wanted to stay closer to town and it a very short 10 min walk to the marina and town. The pools were very well maintained and always someone to help with food and drink orders. Chairs could be hard to find around the pools but we always found some and towels were always plentiful. The food is good, but we enjoyed eating in town more than at the resort. Please do yourself a favor and book a reservation at Mother’s Flower, you will not be disappointed, one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Housekeeping was very nice and always did a great job, Veronica as our house keeper. We came after Christmas and the whales were everywhere, we saw one within 10 minutes of sitting on our balcony and would see at least 10 a day, so bring binoculars. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It is on the expensive side compared to the last resort we stayed, but you are paying for the location and proximity to town and it was worth it to us.
