I admit that the hotel is in a good location and easy to get to. The room is not very big, but the price is reasonable. However, I really want to complain. I stayed on New Year’s Day, and the staff member named Natalie provided the worst service I have ever experienced. I have been living in Australia for three years and have stayed in many hotels in Melbourne, but this is the first time I have encountered something like this, and this staff member is the reason I have decided not to stay here again. Her manners were very poor, she was unwilling to help, and she spoke rudely. It was the worst service I have ever received. I believe she should receive additional training. If she is not ready to perform her duties, she should resign. She ruined my New Year’s Day, and I will definitely not recommend this place to my friends.

I liked this hotel. My room was a good size, clean & had excellent air-conditioning. The shower was quite large & it's in a fantastic location. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to the main train station & the airport shuttle. There's also 2 supermarkets in the station complex. The staff were also really nice.

Booking No. xxxx964 from 24/12-26/12 A terrible experience at a hotel right in the CBD. When we arrived and parked in front of the hotel's car park to contact the reception about parking, we were rudely and aggressively told to check in first. At the reception desk, we were informed that the car park was full because we hadn't booked a parking space beforehand. That's crazy!!! The hotel's amenities list included parking, so how were we supposed to know we needed to book additional parking at the hotel without any notice or note when completing our booking? We've never encountered a situation where a hotel doesn't have parking for its guests. Everything was awful! The hotel was incredibly unprofessional. At the very least, there should have been a note that parking needed to be booked in advance, or we should have contacted the hotel before arrival regarding parking. The next staff member recommended a paid parking lot 50 meters away, and we had to go there to inquire. We ended up paying an additional $110 for parking for 3 days. It was very frustrating with the hotel's unprofessional and vague service. Adding to the problem, just like the other 1-star reviews below, the air conditioning was quite weak, dust accumulated on the air filters, and the toiletries for two people for two days consisted of only two tiny bottles of shampoo. We booked a King bed, but the double bed was made from two single beds joined together? The unevenness between the two edges of the bed made it difficult to sleep and uncomfortable. We will not stay here again and will not recommend this hotel to any friends or family.
