I stayed here in July with my son. The hotel is about an hour from Heraklion Airport, and there's ample parking in front. The town seems a bit sleepy. Check-in was uneventful, and afterward, we were taken to our room by golf cart. My six-year-old son's first words upon arriving in the room were, "This room is really small!" I found the room adequate; we had booked the cheapest category. The hotel is perfectly geared toward children. There are several bars, pools, a private beach, a bouncy castle, and the real highlight—the water park with its various water slides. Unfortunately, there's a major drawback to the water park. The area for toddlers is freezing cold, while the area for adults is heated. My son found the water too cold (in July), and we could have booked any other hotel :-( The beach area is relatively small, but due to the large number of pools, I/we had no trouble finding a shady lounger. You can also see fish swimming in the water quite quickly. We always got a lounger by the pool as well, even though it was sometimes quite crowded. There's also childcare available (provided by the hotel and three tour operators). The food selection is very extensive; because it's all-inclusive, there's food available around the clock. The drinks selection is typical for an all-inclusive package. The staff is very friendly.

The family room we had was comfortable, clean and with two independent rooms. The spaces available in the hotel cover all tastes and needs. Excellent variety of flavors and food suggestions. Extremely friendly and polite staff!
