Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to you with great disappointment regarding the experience in your hotel lounge or café. The space is aesthetically extremely beautiful, with very pleasant music and atmosphere, which is why we were happy to visit it as a place for quiet conversation and relaxation. That is why the recent period has been all the more unpleasant. We have experienced several times that guests have brought children to this space, who have screamed loudly, run between tables, jumped on seats and even played with the piano. The parents did not react to this, and the staff – at least outwardly – did not take any action or warn that this is a space intended for peace and not for children's play. Such an environment completely defeats the purpose of a space for relaxation and a quality hotel experience. A guest who comes to a higher-priced hotel rightly expects the opportunity to sit quietly, talk and enjoy the ambiance – not noise, shouting and a chaotic atmosphere reminiscent of a playroom or kindergarten. I understand that the hotel is open to families, but this cannot and should not mean that other guests give up basic peace. In many hotels abroad, such rules are clear and the staff also enforces them respectfully but firmly. I regret to say that this repeated experience has disturbed me so much that I do not intend to return to your hotel. I write this sincerely and with regret. I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and consider clearer rules, and support the staff in providing an appropriate atmosphere for all guests. Lp.
