Hacienda San Angel is pure magic a hidden gem perched in the hills of Old Town Puerto Vallarta, just behind the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Built on what was once Richard Burton’s villa, this historic property blends old-world romance with modern luxury. Each of the 12 suites is beautifully unique, filled with fine linens, handmade soaps, and little details like local chocolates left at turndown. The angel statues throughout the property give it a serene, sacred feeling it’s luxury with soul. I’ve stayed here more than ten times, and every visit is unforgettable. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely happy, they make you feel like family the moment you arrive. The atmosphere is peaceful, elegant, and deeply welcoming. Puerto Vallarta itself has a wonderful sense of community part San Francisco, part Austin, part tropical paradise and Hacienda San Angel captures that spirit perfectly. It’s a place you fall in love with over and over again.
