The reception was incredibly careless. Yesterday afternoon, I called to book a room, and the receptionist said there was only one twin room left, priced at 1 million VND, plus an extra charge for two children, making it 1.2 million VND per night. Okay, so I carefully asked if I needed to confirm via Zalo or anything to make a deposit or payment, but they said they had already added my name and phone number to the list, so I didn't need to. I thought the hotel was so nice, since I work in this industry and usually pay the full fee when making last-minute bookings. The next day, I rushed there, knowing I would be late, so at 5:50 PM I called to inform them of my late arrival. The receptionist said they needed to check because they couldn't find my booking information. I didn't get a call back, so I called again, and they said all rooms were booked due to too many guests. Seriously, a 4-star hotel with such a disorganized guest check-in process? I drove from Quy Nhon and didn't arrive until after 7 PM. I should have called ahead; otherwise, I would have been furious.
